Financial stability is critical to the long-term health of communities. At the 2008 Leadership Summit, United Way of America will convene United Way leaders and strategic partners to dig deeper into the barriers to family financial stability and work together to develop action plans to break them down.
The 2008 Leadership Summit will:
- Educate, motivate, challenge and energize a critical mass of United Way, municipal, and private sector leaders to transform their communities through targeted financial stability initiatives.
- Develop a deeper understanding of the critical role that financial stability plays in the long-term success of low to moderate income individuals, families and communities nationwide.
- Build new local, regional and national networks between elected officials, United Way leaders and other strategic partners.
